My ringer volume is at max however when a phone hoosiers speech is received I can literally watch the ringer go into silent mode indicated by a speaker with an X that shows up at top on the status bar as soon as the call is received. The phone doesn t even ring at all, it just goes straight to silent. After the call is received or missed, I will go to adjust my volume back up using the side volume bars and another weird thing happens instead of hitting the up button a few times, I hit it once and it goes back to max. Anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions? This is annoying me When i try to turn off the pin lock i can t choose none. i see Disabled by remote phone administrator I don t want a pin lock i just want the slide is this a bug on my phone or is this a new thing that Verizon is enforcing? Hey everyone, Just started having a small issue with the power button on my Motorola Droid yesterday. Whenever I get a new email or text msg, I usually read it quickly and then hit the power button to lock the phone and turn the screen off. Now when I hit the power button, nothing happens. The screen stays lit up until it times out. If I hold the power button, I still get the normal SilentAirplanePower menu. Once the phone times out and locks itself, tapping the power button lights it up and shows the lock screen as usual. At that point, tapping the power button again WILL turn the screen off. Only when the phone is unlocked does the power button stop locking/turning the screen off. I tried powering the phone on and off to see if that would help, it didn t. I uninstalled the newest apps I had downloaded, that didn t change anything. I just reset the phone to factory defaults and the power button still will not lock the phone or turn the screen off. Any ideas? Is this a setting somewhere? Should I have the phone replaced? Anyone found a good lock screen replacement? Ive tried LockBot and Lock 0 neither seemed to work correctly on the X.
